In OMR Sheets we use Bubbles or Ovals which is filled with a Ball point Pen or a HB Pencil. The Bubbles can be solid or shaded. So, these filled optical marks act as an input for the software and accordingly result is calculated.

For printing of OMR Sheets special type of paper is used i.e. MAPLITHO PAPER which can printed in different colors single side or both side using 80 gsm - 120 gsm paper.

These sheets are also provided with the Magnetic Readers (Timing Tracks) which are used to locate the data across the width of the page.

Channels run the length of the page and subdivide the page into 40 or 48 equal strips.

OMR sheets also come with a BARCODE. It is used by the new generation scanners. BARCODES are available in many sizes according to the data to be captured.Bar code are used as optional field.

Instructions for using OMR Sheets:

• For marking in bubbles use Ball point Pen or an HB Pencil only

• Dark one box for each entry

• Make marks only in the space provided

• Mark should be dark enough and should fill the circle completely

• Rough work should not be done on the OMR sheet.
